Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Chase Middle School! We are so excited for all the year will bring and look forward to partnering with our community, families, students, and staff. At Chase, our vision is for all staff to guide students to succeed at their highest potential academically, socially, and emotionally. We can't do that without the support from our greater community so thank you for your support in this vision!
Our goals for the year:
- English Language Arts
- MAP: Based on a Baseline score in August 2026, the median conditional growth index in May 2027 will be 50% or higher while maintaining or increasing the median achievement .
- KAP: Students scoring Levels 2-4 (on grade level) will increase by 5% (from 49% to 54%) as measured on the 2027 KAP ELA Assessment.
- Writing: Students scoring Proficient + Advanced on the District Writing Assessment will increase by 10%, from 52% to 62% from the 25-26 school year to the 26-27 school year.
- Math
- MAP: Based on a Baseline score in August 2026, the median conditional growth index in May 2027 will be 50% or higher while maintaining or increasing the median achievement.
- KAP: Students scoring Levels 2-4 (on grade level) will increase by 5% (from 50% to 55%) as measured on the 2027 KAP Math Assessment.
- Attendance
- Attendance: Student attendance will increase from 91.3% (end of year 25-26) to 93% (end of year 26-27) as measured by Synergy Analytics attendance data.
- Chronic Absenteeism: A year-end Chronic absent rate of 20% will be achieved as a result of truancy interventions. (current 29%).
- Chronic absenteeism is defined as a student missing 10% or more of the school days they were enrolled in. This means that in the 2025-2026 school year, 29% of our students missed 10% or more school days.
